The 4 and Under Pain Relief Recipe - What you do if you get back into pain

The 4 and under is not meant for everyday use or as a prevented protocol. It is meant as a abortive therapy in case you get into unusual pain.

You should not do the caffeine after about 3:00 PM as it might keep you awake. Coffee has a half-life of about 3 to 7 hours. This means that after 5 1/2 to seven hours, half of the caffeine is still in your system. I am very sensitive to it, so I stay away from it after about 12 or one o'clock.

At the same time take the following:
  • 1000mg Tylenol
  • 800mg ibuprofen
  • caffeine as from a cup of coffee
  • and eat a baked potato.

The Tylenol works in the brain, the ibuprofen in the muscle, caffeine constricts the blood vessels that cause migraine, and the baked potato allows triptophane to get into the brain to break down to seratonin.

For a little more seratonin boost just in case you do not have enough triptophane floating around (you get it from foods like Turkey and milk), take about 20mg of desipramine. Desipramine is a Trycyclic Anti-depressent drug* which does not have any drowsy side effects. It, like its drowsy cousins Amitriptyline and Nortripramine, also blocks pain. Amitriptyline and nortriptyline cause you to be drowsy which is great at night but not good during the day.

* Trycyclics are almost exclussively used today for many purposes other then depression, such as chronic pain and irritable bowl syndrome (IBS).
